Float Plus guarantees that its products, when correctly installed and used, are free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 2 years. This applies to belly boats, accessories, motor systems and remote controls. The warranty on batteries is in accordance with national legislation.

The ‘date of first purchase’ is the date on which the product was bought by the first consumer. For purchases via the webshop, it is the date on which the product was delivered to the first consumer.

Float Plus will, at its own discretion, repair or replace defective products or parts that are returned to Float Plus during the warranty period. This is done with new or refurbished parts or products, or with an equivalent product. Such repair or replacement is the customer’s sole remedy under this warranty.

Yes, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receipt without giving a reason, provided the product is returned in new condition.

After cancelling, you have 14 days to send the product back.

Yes, you will receive the full order amount, including the original standard shipping costs. Only the cost of sending the product back is at your own expense.

Return costs are paid by the buyer and depend on your location. Please check your carrier’s website for the exact rates.

Deliveries are made by DPD. Your parcel is generally delivered within 2 working days.

We recommend the Sjippie Rubberboot Reiniger, a cleaner specially developed for PVC and Hypalon surfaces. Spray the cleaner onto the wet belly boat, let it work briefly and massage it in with the Scrubby. Rinse with water and you’re done.

Once the belly boat is clean and dry, you can treat it with Sjippie UV-wax. This prevents discolouration and drying out caused by sunlight and reduces dirt adhesion. Spray on a thin layer and wipe it off immediately with the microfibre cloth. Do not use in direct sunlight.

After use in salt water, rinse everything with fresh water and make sure no water gets into the connectors. Let the belly boat dry completely before storing it.

Yes, Float Plus belly boats are suitable for both fresh and salt water. Rinse the belly boat thoroughly with fresh water after use in salt water.

Preferably partially inflated, but deflated is also fine. Store the belly boat in a dry, frost-free place.

Yes, the Float Plus belly boat is suitable for people of every build. With a load capacity of 220 kg+ (FP1) or 200 kg+ (FP2), everyone can enjoy belly boat fishing.

That depends on the charger. Make sure you connect the correct charger: a 12V charger to a 12V battery and a 16V charger to a 16V battery.

Do not leave the battery in the charger, and check the battery regularly while charging.

There are no ‘special’ batteries. How long a battery lasts depends mainly on the type of fishing and the complete set-up of the belly boat, including the angler. The 16.8V 49.4Ah lithium-ion battery in storm case, or the absolute top model, the 16.8V 120Ah in storm case (Jarocells inside), are suitable for longer fishing days and tough conditions.

In the Netherlands, you are required to carry an all-round top light at a height of at least 1 metre when fishing at night. Rules can differ per country, so check the local regulations where you fish.

The most commonly used PVC glues are Adeco Adegrip, Bengar glue and Saba 70T. Adeco and Bengar are 2-component glues, Saba is a 1-component glue.
