Float Tube Motor Systems

PRO 2

This system consists of a single case and a separate motor. The case contains the battery, the controls, and a charging point for your remote control. The advantage of this is that you have everything compact in a suitcase, making it easy to carry.

 

Which batteries can you choose?

The battery is in the same case as the controls. Therefore, it is specially made for the case and no other battery can be used than a Float Plus battery.

You can choose between two different batteries in the cases:

• The Pro 41.6 Ah / 12.6V battery has less power (32 lbs), but a longer battery life. As a result, it is suitable for short fishing trips to long fishing days on river ponds (20 hours on drift mode!). This motor does not have enough power to function properly in strongly flowing waters or on large waters where a lot of distance needs to be covered in the shortest possible time. It is not possible to connect a fishfinder to the battery.
• The Pro 31.2 Ah / 16.8V battery has more power (41 lbs), but a shorter battery life. Despite this fact, the battery is still suitable for both short fishing trips and long fishing days. Furthermore, it is possible to fish on (fast) flowing rivers and long distances can be quickly covered. It is not possible to connect a fishfinder to this battery.

Compact 2

This system consists of two products, firstly the motor with a control case, and secondly a battery of your choice. These are connected by two supplied cables. The advantage of this is that you can easily switch batteries while fishing, should you have an extra battery. It is also possible to use a different battery than a Float Plus battery. The charging point is on the outside of the battery, making it easy to charge. The disadvantage is that you have two cases compared to one in the other system.

Which batteries can you choose?

Do you already have a battery? Optionally, a lead acid battery, Lithium ion battery, or a lipo4 can also be attached to the motor. These may be up to 16V. To connect them, you need the Float Plus cable (foreign battery).

• The Stormcase 41,6AH 12,6V has a longer battery life. Therefore, it is suitable for short fishing trips to long fishing days on river ponds (20 hours on drift mode!). This motor does not have enough power to function properly in strongly flowing waters or on large waters where a lot of distance needs to be covered in the shortest possible time. The correct cable is included in the Compact system.
• The Stormcase 31,2AH 16,8V battery has more power (41 lbs), but a shorter battery life. On large ponds you can boat for a while, but on rivers your battery will run out faster. Furthermore, it is possible to fish on (fast) flowing rivers and long distances can be quickly covered. The correct cable is included in the Compact system.
• The Stormcase 49,4 AH 16,8V battery has the most power and much more capacity than the 31,2 AH. Therefore, you can boat for a long time, even on heavily flowing rivers. This is the best choice! To use this battery you need the Float Plus Cable (49,4 AH 16,8 V). This connects the battery to the control case.
